Sunday Review 8/23/20

Earlier this week, the Press Herald reported that Maine was officially experiencing drought conditions. Fortunately we had a little bit of rain on Saturday to ease us into a somewhat relaxing but very productive end of the week. We’re finally nearly done with the second crop hay.

Earlier this week Glisten got a little too excited in the barn and scratched up her face a bit. Thankfully we are fortunate to have a talented veterinarian who was able to come over and fix her up right away.  She’s been recovering well and has been enjoying her darth vader eye mask to keep the flies from bothering her.

Our back side of the barn continues to get updated now that we’ve started painting the field-side portion. A few rain showers kept us from finishing up the entire side but we’re making progress!
